The Mill is located in a tranquil dell, adjacent to meadows and wooded walks with picnic facilities and a safe garden area.
Visitors to The Mill can sketch or paint in the peace and qiet, enjoying the natural surroundings of the building and the millpond. It provides an opportunity to escape the hustle of the city and enjoy the views and wildlife whilst appreciating the past. Vintage tractor weekends, heritage weekends, craft fairs, a folk festival and other events are held throughout the year.
You can also enjoya visit to Path Head Water Mill as part of your day out in The Blaydon Burn Trail.

By Car - Find Us on the A695 / B6317 at Blaydon with heritage signs.
From Blaydon Roundabout take the B6317 towards Ryton. After about 300yds turn left at Pumphrey’s Coffee Shop. Go up Summerhill and the Mill is located down a signposted track on the right, at the top of the hill.
